A wonderful day at Nara - not only for the unrivalled, breath-taking buddhist temples and ancient sites (and the tame resident wild deer) in beautiful surrounds, but for the city itself, and for the riotous street festival of dance and music that swirled around us all day... photos of the latter to follow anon.
